グリーンストーンはオープンソース・ソフトであり、協力のためにコミュニティのデベロッパーを募集しています。新規のデベロッパーはregisterでなければならず、developers' guideをチェックアウトしなければなりません。
協力者は自己のオンラインの開発ツールを使用ください。それらはdevelopers' mailing list the trac source code browser, the trac bug database, そしてブログの technical categoryなどが含まれます。
グリーンストーンのソース・コードは subversion repositoryのバージョン制御のもとに置かれています。

The local processing code added needs testing with actual unreleased grades when released grades are unavailable to see if it actually works (and need to then also check all the numbers once to sure it's got the right data and therefore that it's doing the right thing), but it can only be tested in the marking period at a trimester end.
