جرينستون هو برمجيات مفتوحه المصدر ، ونحن نشجع على هذا النحو مطورين من المجتمع للمساهمه. ينبغي علي المطورين الجدد التحقق من getting started و, صفحة register بوصفه مطور.
لتكون فكرة عن تطور جرينستون ، ربما تحتاج لمراجعة مدونة المطورين ، أو الانضمام إلى القائمة البريديه للمطورين.

r41898 by anupama @ 7.15 pm, 12th JulySadly the allegedly complete jre created from the selfcontained-jdk was anything but complete: I finally got to test it out on darwin and it failed immediately. The ant-log-reset-restart-with.sh script was stuck somewhere trying to start solr and the prompt never returned. The jre created from selfcontained-jdk is further 70MB versus 230MB for the downloaded one. And several files are different.
