Assuming you are using version 2.8, search indexes are specified in
the "Assigned Indexes" box that is found under "Search Indexes" on the
Design Panel. To add a new index, click on "New Index" and then select
the field(s) from the list that appears. Remember that you'll have to
rebuild your collection for these changes to take effect. To specify
what text Greenstone should display for a particular index, change the
appropriate "Display text" under Search on the Format panel.
You can also find out a little more about search indexes from the
tutorial exercise on Word and PDF files:
http://wiki.greenstone.org/wiki/gsdoc/tutorial/en/word\_pdf\_collection.htm
I hope this helps.
Regards
Amos
